Are you taking BIOL BC1502 Introduction to Cell and Molecular Biology in Spring 2016?

Did you earn a 4 or 5 on the AP Bio exam (or a 5,6, or 7 on the IB Exam)?

Want to read classic and current scientific articles in along with other students who share your interest in Biology research?

Then check out this class: 

BIOL BC1599. Biology Journal Club. 1 point
Wednesdays 1:10-2:00. Class is offered P/D/F (not for a letter grade).
Open to first year students who scored a 4 or 5 on the AP Biology exam or a 5 or higher on the IB exam, and are enrolled in the 1500-level Biology series. Limited to 16 students.
Students in this seminar course will be introduced to the scientific literature by reading a mix of classic papers and papers that describe significant new developments in the field. Seminar periods will be devoted to oral reports, discussion of assigned reading, and student responses.
